    Ben and Cariann,

This was one of your best shows ever! Mike really new what he was talking about. Everyone should see Orphans of Apollo.

But there’s even more that you may not know about space related issues that Michael didn’t cover.

If we want the U.S. to be the number 1 spacefaring nation and stay that way, we need to understand what went wrong with the space program and how to fix it. Below is a link to an article that I came across which is written in clear nontechnical language and was just published in a science and technology journal called The New Atlantis. It is an extremely in-depth discussion of space related issues, so it is quite long and involved. But for those of us who really care about America’s future in space, it will be worth the time spent reading it. I guarantee, you will learn about things you haven’t heard of, just as you did with Orphans of Apollo.

    Jeph,

Here’s the alternate trip to the moon architecture that I talked about. It’s one that can be done relatively cheaply with a “predepot” before a full fledged depot is orbited.
